2 NEW Gold Farms in Heartopia That Feel Like Cheating
Are you struggling to make enough Gold in Heartopia? Today, we are revealing two incredible gold farming methods that will fill your pockets in no time.
We have a passive method you can do while AFK (perfect for multi-tasking!) and an active grinding method for when you want to maximize your profit.
Note:
The meta for farming gold changes with updates. We will keep you posted, but for now, these are the best strategies available!
Method 1: The Passive Truffle Farm (Forest Island)
This method is perfect if you want to make money while watching a movie or playing another game. It relies on the Black Truffle Pie recipe.
Step 1: Preparation
Before you head out, you need to unlock the Mushroom Recipes.
- Unlock Recipe: Complete the gossip quest with the Cooking Vendor. You can do this very early on (Cooking Level 2).
- Buy Eggs: Visit the Cooking Vendor daily. You need Eggs.
- Pro Tip: Look for the 40% OFF discount! Even at full price (100 Gold), buy all 50 available eggs every single day. You will need them.
- Grow Wheat: Start growing as much Wheat as possible in your garden. You can buy seeds from the Gardening Vendor.
Step 2: Farming Black Truffles
Now for the main ingredient. Head to Forest Island (top right of the map, north of the East Sea).
- Location: Cross the bridge in Forest Island.
- Target: Look for Black Truffles on the ground near logs and trees.
- Spawn Rate: They take about 15 minutes to respawn.
- Strategy: There are usually 4 spawns in this area. Harvest all of them, then go AFK. Come back every 15 minutes to harvest again.
Step 3: Cooking for Profit
Once you have your ingredients (2 Black Truffles, 1 Wheat, 1 Egg), head to your kitchen or set up a cooking station.
- Recipe: Black Truffle Pie.
- Setup: You can set up multiple stoves (e.g., 4 in a square) to cook efficiently.
- Profit:
- 1-Star Pie: Sells for 830 Gold.
- 2-Star Pie: Sells for 1,245 Gold.
- 3-Star Pie: Sells for 1,660 Gold.
Just one batch of sales can net you over 46,000 Gold!
💡 Important Tip: Rainfall Blessing
Want to increase your chances of getting 3-Star dishes? Wait for a Rainbow Day!
- During a Rainbow Event, you can obtain a Rainbow Bouquet.
- Using this item gives you a 30-minute Blessing that improves star ratings for Cooking, Fishing, Insect Catching, and more.
- Strategy: Stockpile your ingredients and cook everything during the 30-minute window for maximum profit.
Method 2: The Active Mushroom Route (Fishing Village)
If you are out of eggs or want to grind actively without waiting, this method is for you. It requires zero gold investment.
Step 1: The Route
Head to the Fishing Village Square. We are going to run a specific route to harvest wild mushrooms.
- Start: Fishing Village Square, near the lighthouse.
- The Loop: Run a circle around the village, checking trees and grassy areas.
- Key Spots:
- Behind the light tower.
- Near the bus stop sign.
- Across the bridge.
- Near the red building on the hill.
Step 2: Why This Works
Unlike the Black Truffles, these common mushrooms respawn very quickly (a few minutes). By the time you complete your lap around the village, the first mushrooms will have likely respawned.
- Consistency: You can do this indefinitely until you get bored.
- No Cost: Requires no purchased ingredients.
Step 3: Cooking Grilled Mushrooms
Go back to your kitchen and cook Grilled Mushrooms (requires Shiitake Mushrooms).
- Cooking: These are quick to make.
- Profit: While they sell for less than Truffle Pies, the unlimited quantity makes up for it. A stack of dishes can still easily net you 12,000+ Gold.
Summary
- Passive & High Value: Farm Black Truffles every 15 mins + specific Egg/Wheat recipe.
- Active & Unlimited: Run the Fishing Village Mushroom Route for constant low-tier mushroom drops.
