Today is a Rainbow Day in Heartopia! If you want to know everything about this special weather event, keep reading because what you do today could completely change your game.
Tip:
Check your smartwatch! Look to the right of the time and click the weather icon to see the next 5 days of forecast.
During different weather events—snowy, meteorite, or rainbow—completely different species of birds, fish, and bugs will appear (or be more likely to appear).
Rainbow Blessing & Bonuses
On Rainbow Days, you will receive a special Rainbow Blessing (visible near your mini-map). This blessing is huge for resource gathering!
- Higher Quantity: Get more resources from mining, fishing, and foraging.
- Higher Quality: Increased chance for better quality fish and bugs.
- Animal Bonuses: Certain wild animals give bonuses for feeding them on Rainbow Days (their favorite weather).
Tip:
Go feed all the animals at troughs around the map to get bonuses and statues!
You will also find Rainbow Bouquets in bubbles around the map. Pop them for additional collection bonuses!
Secret Vendor Doris: Rainbow Day Location
Doris, the secret vendor, appears on Rainbow Days, but she looks different and is in a special location!
- How to find her: Look at the sky and follow the huge rainbow! Drive or run until you are almost directly underneath it.
- Appearance: She has pink hair and a gray outfit on Rainbow Days.
- Shop Stock: She sells colored sugar (rotates colors) and sometimes has an exclusive Rainbow Emote and special postcard.
Note:
Finding the bottom of the rainbow can be tricky in mountain areas. Don't give up!
Cooking: Roll Cakes
Doris sells colored sugar which you can use to cook new varieties of Roll Cakes.
- Cooking new recipes gives huge bonuses to your cooking hobby progression.
- Roll cakes make adorable decorations for your kitchen or dining table!
Exclusive Fish (Rainbow & Weather Dependent)
Some of these can also be found on rainy days, but they are prominent on Rainbow Days.
Pro Tip:
Use a Fish Attractor and Mermaid Perfume to catch high-quality fish like the Butterfly Koi faster!
